WHO IS THRIFT?
Angelica Thrift is a nineteen year old singer-songwriter based out of Vernon, B.C. Born in Vancouver, Thrift has been singing and writing her own songs since she was young. Thrift describes her music as indie soul, and with a range of musical influences from Dallas Green, Gabrielle Alpin, & Lewis Watson, to Stevie Nicks & Daughter, she is constantly changing and looking to try out new sounds. Through her writing, Thrift is trying to create songs that people can relate to by seeing the universal experiences and emotions that people endure, herself included.
As for new music, Thrift is currently working on her debut EP set to release this summer which she says will be an artistic testament to her progress both musically and personally. For Thrift, making music is all about having fun & connecting with others; as she continues to release new music she seeks to meet creatives & like-minded musicians who are open to collaborate.
