Kira Lagadin self-described "folk-pop" sound is a reflection of her laid back yet professional personality. The UofC student has spent the last year managing an on campus Gig Club; the experience left her with a new network of musicians and a better understanding of the interworkings between music and community. Lagadin has been performing for the last seven years pulling influences from nature, travel, The Rockies, and "the male species." She also credits her sound to her first concert experience, Sarah McLaughlin, in which she admired McLaighlins writing style and tone.  You can see Kira competing in the Calgary Stampede talent search this summer, and busking around downtown. Anticipate her debut EP early fall.
